Selena Gomez - an international singer and actress - is well-known worldwide. She has been involved in numerous projects, however the Disney Series Wizards of Waverly Place has enjoyed the highest success. Selena Marie Gomez is her full name. The full title is Selena Marie. Amanda Cornett, and Ricardo Gomez are her parents. Her mother was barely 16 at the time Selena was born. When she was nine, Selena got her first job in showbiz by being cast as Gianna by Barney and her Friends. In the process, she played with the world's most anthropomorphic and purple dinosaurs. Selena performed on a variety of episodes in season 7 and 8 from 2001 between 2001 and 2003. Selena Gomez was not the only performer to be featured in Barney & His Friends between 2001 and 2003. Demi Lorvato joined the group too. Selena Gomez tried out for various roles following the departure of Barney and the Friends, however, she failed. Her role was a little smaller as a character in Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3D Game Over) in 2003, and one more part in the film as Julie as Julie in Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire. The film also gave her the part in the role of Emily Grace Garcia in the 2007 Brain Zapped program for which she composed a tune.
