Ina-Garten

Ina Garden is an American cookbook author who has been awarded Emmy award. She hosts the oldest Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. The show began in 2002. The show will run for 27 more seasons. Ina started her career at the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policy documents as well as the budget. Although she initially found the position fascinating and intellectually stimulating but she quickly became bored with it. Barefoot Contessa was then bought. Prior to selling the company the store, she worked for 18 years building it into an extremely successful business. Many different cookbooks and magazines followed. Her Food Network television program also began and rapidly gained popularity. Ina sells a variety of things, from food ingredients food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina, who is self-taught, has never studied at a culinary school or in a hotel. Her name is associated with her casual style of making food and hosting. The most well-known recipes include Skillet - Roasted Lemon Chicken Mac and Cheese, Mac, Beef Bourguignon and cheese paired with Beatty's Chocolate Cake, and Lemon Bars.
