Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. In the 1950s, she began her acting career on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. The same year, She made her debut album, It's the Time for Tina. Louise was first introduced to Hollywood as Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a 1957 drama film. The film was hugely popular and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career, balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious rather than the glamorous image that she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she's also earned an impact as an accomplished director on numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural and The 100. Her family relocated out of Essex to Toronto, where she spent childhood and adolescence. Her home was in Vancouver following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter.
