Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is a American model, songwriter, singer and actress. Her most well-known role is Jenny Humphrey as part of the CW drama Gossip Girl, and also as the lead singer of the rock group The Pretty Reckless. The songs of Momsen have been featured in films and shows including How to Be Solo Going the Distance as well as Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen is a 26-year old actress who was born July 26 the 26th of July, 1993. She is the younger sister, Sloane Momsen. She was a dancer at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. In an advertisement for Shake 'n Bake national advertisement at the time, momsen was the first to perform professionally after she was three. Momsen's acting career came to a slow halt for three years before she was offered an acting role as the lead in Misconceptions, a WB program Misconceptions. Also at this time Momsen was in the 2006 movie Saving Shiloh. She auditioned as well for the role of Hannah Montana's title character Hannah Montana and was in the top three, but the part was awarded the role to Miley Cyrus.
