Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen is an American singer songwriter model and actress born in St. Louis Missouri. Her most well-known work is her character Jenny Humphrey on the CW show Gossip Girl and as the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been used in films and shows including How to Be Solo Going the Distance as well as Two and a Half Men. The younger sister of Taylor Momsen Sloane Momsen also works as an actor. She studied dance at the Center of Creative Arts in St. Louis. She began acting professionally aged three in a national commercial for Shake 'n Bake. Momsen was on hiatus in her career for more than three years, before being cast as the lead in Misconceptions the WB television show. Momsen played a role in Saving Shiloh 2006 during this period. Also, Momsen auditioned for the role of lead on Hannah Montana. She was one of the top three however, Miley got the role.
