Coleman was born in Lancashire, and born in the town of Blackpool. Coleman graduated from Arnold School Blackpool, where she achieved straight As for her A-levels. When Coleman was asked about her role in Emmerdale, she said that she regrets that she did not have a traditional university experience. Coleman worked with a group known as In Yer Space at her school. They presented Crystal Clear in Edinburgh Festival. Her performance was rewarded, and the play received positive reviews. Coleman was offered the role of Jasmine Thomas while she was in auditions at the drama schools. This happened in 2005. Coleman was awarded two awards in 2007. She was nominated for two awards. British Soap Awards nominated her as best newcomer. In the National Television Awards, she was also nominated most popular newcomer. In 2009, the British Soap Awards 2009 nominated her in both categories: Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman received a TV Choice Award nomination in the category of Best Actress. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March 2012 press conference that Coleman will play Matt Smith's character after Karen Gillan left. Moffat picked her for the role due to her ability to work together with Smith as well as the fact that she was faster at speaking than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her career has been in the world of entertainment since 1987. She is however, more recognized for her TV shows instead of films. Eva has played a variety of parts on the screen, but two stand out: the Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the character of Detective Natalia Boavistas which was in CSI Miami. It was the former that earned Eva two nominations for the 'Daytime Emmy. Also, she got to express her creative side by performing music. Eva is not just acting, but she's also a businesswoman and philanthropist. She has been married thrice and also has a daughter with her previous husband.
