Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy is the name of Anne Frances Murphy who was born on the 19th of December in 1986. She is Canadian and was employed by Hollywood's film industry on a range of projects. Most famously, she is known for her role as Alexis Rose in the CBC TV sitcom Schitt's creek. The show which began in the year 2015 and ended in 2020. Her performance was critically acclaimed her performance and was awarded with the Primetime Emmy Award. Born in Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. Her parents both worked as instructors. She enrolled at Elmwood School in Ottawa where they staged productions. Then she enrolled in Concordia University, where her degree was theatre performance. After that, she took courses in the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory where acting was taught. In Los Angeles she devoted herself to the art of acting. Annie Murphy made her acting debut in 2007 when she appeared in the television thriller Lethal Obsession. She continued her acting career and also played small extra parts in a variety of films.
